Suzy graduated from Butler University in 1993 with B.A. in Liberal Arts with an English Major and a Spanish Minor. She attended the Jordan College of Fine Arts in 1990 and 1991 where she studied piano and voice.

She began her career in insurance in 1993 in Long Term Care policy administration with Conseco. She has been with Rushing Financial Group since August 2006.

She is a Member of AHOU (Association of Home Office Underwriters) and the Professional Women’s Network. She holds several professional designations, which include:

Suzy and her husband, Jimmie, have a daughter, Miley.
